Pratigya Campaign hosted a Facebook and Twitter Live Chat on July 11, 2019 to mark World Population Day. Moderated by Ms. Anjali Nayyar (EVP, Global Health Strategies), the panel on ‘Family Planning is a Human Right: Universal Access to SRH’ included Ms. Prabhleen Tuteja (Director Programmes, The YP Foundation), Mr. Vinoj Manning (CEO, Ipas Development Foundation) and Mr. VS Chandrashekar (CEO, Foundation for Reproductive Health Services India). The discussion highlighted the role youth can play and importance of family planning in India.

First CAG Meeting held for Phase III
The Campaign Advisory Group for the Pratigya Campaign for Gender Equality and Safe Abortion, met for the first time in Phase III of the campaign. The secretariat presented the focus areas of the campaign, along with reference documents for the smooth functioning of the CAG and the secretariat. The CAG took note of the immediate action points and gave vital inputs for furthering the advocacy work of the campaign and increase access to safe abortion.
